Living Games

Bringing Play, Movement & Connection Back to Life

In today’s digital age, both children and adults face growing challenges with screen fatigue, emotional burnout, and a lack of live communication.

The Living Games Project is dedicated to bringing active, screen-free movement back into daily life through traditional yard games, dynamic team mechanics, and social-emotional play.

To serve our community's diverse needs, we have developed four specialized program streams.

  1. Schools & Daycares & Camps

  2. Families & Communities

  3. Workshops for Teachers & Educators

  4. Teams & Organizations

Why Choose Living Games for Your Students?

  • Physical & Emotional Release: After hours of seated classroom learning, children need purposeful physical action to discharge energy, refresh focus, and reset their nervous system.

  • Social & Emotional Learning (SEL): Guided games train working memory, impulse control, and emotional regulation. Children practice winning and losing gracefully, reading social cues, and experiencing high-energy fun without aggression.

  • Real-World Connection & Peer Bonding: Group games teach children how to negotiate rules, include peers, and communicate authentically in real time.

  • Empowering Independent Recess Play: Students learn accessible, structured movement games that they can easily organize themselves during school breaks.

HOW IT WORKS (What to Expect)?

  • Flexible Locations: Games can be conducted in a gymnasium, multipurpose room, daycare space, or outdoors on a school field/playground.

  • No Complex Equipment Needed: We bring all necessary energy and methodology — no expensive gear or heavy logistics required from the school.

  • Bilingual Delivery: Facilitated smoothly in English, French, or bilingually, depending on your institutional needs.

  • Group Size: Optimized for single-class groups (up to 20–30 students per session) to ensure safe, active inclusion for every participant.
